The NIO ET9 has a length of over 5.3 meters, a width of 2 meters, and a wheelbase of over 3.2 meters. Despite its large overall size, the ET9 features a four-seat layout and introduces the innovative “Executive Bridge” that spans the front and rear rows, allowing for compartmentalization and integration of multiple functions.
The NIO ET9 adopts a sleek and sporty coupe-like design, featuring a compact and upward-sloping dynamic rear end. It combines the sharpness expected from a sports car with the elegance of an executive sedan. It also boasts a long wheelbase, extended rear overhang, slim windows, and 23-inch wheels.
In the cabin, the NIO ET9 features a comprehensive intelligent digital architecture. The central control screen is horizontally oriented, and an additional “Horizon Screen” measuring 1.4 meters in length is added to the center console. The Horizon Screen comes with a digital skin feature and offers “Sky Printing” scene modes. The audio system consists of 35 speakers, including 8 headrest speakers, with a power output of 2680 watts. It employs dual amplifiers and a 7.1.4-channel configuration, achieving noise reduction capabilities of up to 800 Hz.

The NIO ET9 will adopt a 900V high-voltage architecture based on NIO’s upgraded electric drivetrain platform. NIO has further reduced the weight and size of the motors to achieve higher power density. The new vehicle is expected to be able to diagnose the health status of the 900V electric drivetrain system in real-time, enabling faster charging speeds with the upgraded high-voltage wiring harness.
The NIO ET9 is equipped with a self-developed 1200V silicon carbide power module, with a module power density of 1315 kW/L and the ability to withstand over 300,000 power cycles.
The NIO ET9 features an integrated 5C high-voltage fast-charging battery pack with a total capacity of 120 kWh. It utilizes self-developed 46105 large cylindrical battery cells with a single cell energy density of 292 Wh/kg. It supports 5C flash charging and, when paired with a 640 kWh charging station, can achieve a 255 km range with just 5 minutes of charging.
The NIO ET9 will be equipped with the latest released “Shenji” NX9031 intelligent driving chip, the all-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, and the “Tianxing” chassis system. The all-domain 900V high-voltage architecture features a maximum vehicle voltage of 925V, peak charging power of 600 kW, and peak charging current of 765A. Under the all-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, NIO has adopted a new generation of 900V high-performance intelligent electric drivetrain platform.
