Description

The Geely Emgrand (referred to as Emgrand) is a sub-brand established under the Geely parent brand. On July 26, 2014, Geely introduced the new Emgrand, which is equipped with the new 1.3T GeTec DVVT turbocharged engine. It features front-wheel drive, with a maximum power of 98 kW, turbo engagement at 1800 rpm, and a peak torque output of 185 Nm at 2000 rpm. The power output and torque of the 1.3T engine are higher than those of comparable 1.5T engines, providing performance similar to a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine.

The Emgrand EC718 and EC718-RV are the sedan and hatchback versions, respectively, of Geely’s first B-segment cars. They were designed according to European standards and are Geely’s first global vehicle platform. Developed in accordance with European regulations and standards, these models have the capability to be exported to developed countries and regions.
