The Chery Arrizo 5 adopts the family-style exterior design of the Arrizo series, but with sportier adjustments in detail. The interior and configuration have also been upgraded, and it will be equipped with either a 1.5L naturally aspirated or 1.2T, 1.5T turbocharged engine.

Regarding the interior and powertrain, the design of the Chery Arrizo 5’s interior is mainly characterized by simplicity and generosity, featuring a three-spoke sports steering wheel integrated with various shortcut buttons. The top of the center console embeds a large LCD screen and neatly arranged buttons, with a one-touch start system on the left side.

In terms of power, the new car is expected to be equipped with a 1.5L or 1.2T, 1.5T engine, matched with a 5-speed manual or CVT continuously variable transmission. The all-new 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 108kW and peak torque of 210Nm.

As a new member of the “Arrizo” family, the stunning appearance of the “Arrizo 5” is the most powerful interpretation of Chery’s automotive quality. Under Chery’s new technological standards, the new car is required to have strict quality assurance from the conceptual design stage. At the core of Chery Design is the idea that product styling design first originates from “spirit” and then condenses into “form,” imbuing the product with a soul. In the case of the “Arrizo 5,” “dynamism” is the essence of this vehicle’s “spirit.” Based on the premise of “dynamism,” Chery’s design team follows the Chery Design system, combining functionality with aesthetics to create a dynamic sedan vibe for the “Arrizo 5.”

In addition to the clear expression of a sporty style, the “Arrizo 5” incorporates numerous trendy elements in its design, exuding a youthful and fashionable atmosphere that perfectly aligns with the aesthetic preferences of young consumers. Furthermore, the “Arrizo 5” inherits the meticulous “sensory quality” characteristic of the “Arrizo” series, evident in aspects such as color choices, panel gaps, interior textures, and cabin ambiance, all of which contribute to a strong sense of quality in visual and tactile experiences.

Positioned between the “Arrizo 7” (A+ segment) and the “Arrizo 3” (A0 segment), the “Arrizo 5” is a standard A-class sedan with dimensions of 4572mm in length, 1825mm in width, and 1482mm in height. With a wheelbase of 2670mm, it can be inferred that the “Arrizo 5” will possess a significant advantage in terms of space compared to its competitors.

In terms of exterior styling, the Arrizo 5 inherits the classic H.D.S dynamic water-flow body design concept from the Arrizo series family, where designers have incorporated the “water” element from the traditional Chinese culture of the “Five Elements” into the body design of the Arrizo 5. The H.D.S water-flow body dynamic design concept is also applied to the sides of the Arrizo 5. Three prominent side character lines, resembling “rushing water,” outline the layered, dynamic, and unrestrained passion of the Arrizo 5’s side profile.

In terms of body dimensions, the Arrizo 5 measures 4572 mm in length, 1825 mm in width, 1482 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2670 mm. Through optimized design of the front and rear cabin spaces, it provides more comfortable head and legroom, with a total of 24 storage spaces throughout the vehicle, significantly enhancing passenger convenience.

In terms of entertainment and technology features, the Arrizo 5 understands the demand of young users for intelligent connectivity. It is equipped with the Cloudrive 2.0 smart cloud-connected driving system, featuring powerful natural language recognition capabilities that can recognize 16 dialects. Additionally, the Arrizo 5 is equipped with built-in 4G wireless Wi-Fi, providing a stronger and more stable mobile hotspot than a smartphone signal, supporting up to 10 devices simultaneously, allowing every passenger to enjoy seamless mobile connectivity. Passengers can also utilize the 8-inch high-definition touchscreen in the vehicle for full-screen smartphone mirroring, intelligent voice recognition, and cloud music playback, making human-machine interaction more convenient and intelligent.

In terms of powertrain, the initial batch of Arrizo 5 models is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, delivering a maximum power of 116 horsepower and a maximum torque of 141 Nm. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed CVT continuously variable transmission. The manual transmission model features shift reminder function, while the CVT transmission comes with Economy Mode (ECO) and Sport Mode, providing a more diverse driving experience. Thanks to the application of lightweight optimization throughout the vehicle, the overall weight is significantly reduced. The manual transmission models can accelerate from 15-50 km/h in just 5 seconds, showcasing outstanding acceleration and handling performance, coupled with excellent fuel efficiency. Models equipped with intelligent start-stop system and AMS generator management system achieve a fuel consumption of just 5.4L per 100 kilometers.
