Exterior and Interior:
The new car adopts a marine aesthetic design style, with the entire center console resembling undulating waves, and it also features a compact “energy crystal” electronic gear lever. A camera is installed on the driver’s side A-pillar, expected to provide functions like fatigue driving monitoring. The wraparound layout with gray-blue and black contrasting colors creates a smooth overall effect. The entire lineup of the new car comes standard with dual floating screens, with a crystal-style transparent gear lever in the lower center console area, which is more stunning than the Porsche 911.
In terms of exterior design, the BYD Seal’s sloping roof + side “shuttle” headlights present an elegant posture reminiscent of a sporty coupe.
The seats of the new car feature diamond and teardrop-shaped perforations, with contrasting double-stitched edges enhancing the overall luxury of the interior. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel features driver assistance controls on the left and multimedia volume controls on the right, exuding a strong sense of technology. The contours on both sides of the auxiliary instrument panel outline a “hourglass” shape for the center console, seamlessly integrating the cup holder design. The compact transparent gear lever in the center is complemented by surrounding buttons arranged in a wraparound layout, enhancing the overall sophistication.

Configuration Parameters
Based on the previously disclosed declaration information, the 550km range version should be equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 150kW, which is the base model. The 650km range version should correspond to a dual-motor setup, with the front motor having a maximum power of 160kW and the rear motor having a maximum power of 200kW, achieving an acceleration of just 3.8 seconds from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour. The 700km range version should also feature a single motor with a maximum power of 230kW.
The dimensions of the Seal are 4800mm in length, 1875mm in width, and 1460mm in height. Thanks to its four-wheel design, it boasts a wheelbase of 2920mm, positioning it in the A+ sedan segment. However, the vehicle’s size specifications comprehensively surpass those of the Model 3.
In terms of powertrain, the car offers three different versions: a model equipped with a 150kW rear-wheel-drive motor, a model with a 230kW rear-wheel-drive motor, and a model with a dual-motor setup featuring a 160kW front motor and a 230kW rear motor. Built on the BYD e-platform 3.0 technology platform, the Seal will incorporate a series of BYD’s latest technologies, including Battery Body Integration (CTB), the eight-in-one electric powertrain, the heat pump system, and boost charging, among others. These technologies enhance the overall torsional stiffness and dynamic response of the vehicle, providing users with a better driving and safety experience. Additionally, features like the rear-wheel-drive/four-wheel-drive architecture and the front double wishbone + rear multi-link suspension configuration imply that the Seal possesses strong athletic attributes.
In terms of fast charging, the Seal offers two options: the standard range version with a direct current fast charging power of 110kW, and the long-range and four-wheel-drive performance versions with a direct current fast charging power of 150kW, allowing for fast charging from 30% to 80% in under 30 minutes.
