In terms of range, the 2022 BYD Tang EV is equipped with a 108.8kWh high-capacity blade battery, boasting the deepest energy reserves among all BYD models, far exceeding market expectations for overall endurance. It’s understood that the CLTC comprehensive condition range of the 2022 Tang EV two-wheel-drive version can reach up to 730km. At the same time, the 2022 Tang EV also offers two different range versions: 600km and 635km. With the support of BYD’s globally pioneering battery direct cooling and heating technology and wide-temperature efficient heat pump air conditioning, the thermal efficiency of the 2022 Tang EV has increased by 20%, and energy consumption of the air conditioning system has decreased by about 40% in low temperatures. Additionally, with various vehicle drag reduction technologies such as the new EV Dragon Face low-drag front face, AGS active air intake grille, and 21-inch low-drag wheels, the 2022 Tang EV significantly expands the user’s travel radius compared to before.

In terms of intelligent driving, the 2022 Tang EV, equipped with the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, has been upgraded to an L2.5 level intelligent assistance driving mode. Benefiting from the ACC-S&G stop-and-go full-speed adaptive cruise control and ICC intelligent navigation systems, the 2022 Tang EV can achieve automatic cruise control and all-scenario automatic parking functions. Moreover, the upgraded DiLink 4.0 also supports 5G connectivity. The 2022 Tang EV 635km four-wheel-drive flagship model is equipped with dual motors with a maximum power of 180kW at the front and 200kW at the rear. It achieves a 0-100km/h acceleration in just 4.4 seconds. Equipped with Brembo racing-grade matte gray six-piston fixed calipers at the front, it effectively shortens the braking distance, achieving a 36.8-meter stopping distance per 100 kilometers, allowing users to safely stop under intense driving conditions.

Regarding chassis tuning, the 2022 Tang EV is equipped with super intelligent electric four-wheel drive, which can intelligently adjust the front and rear wheel power distribution ratio instantaneously according to road conditions, providing users with a more flexible and smooth driving experience. Additionally, thanks to the newly added DiSus-C intelligent electronic control active suspension, the 2022 Tang EV has stronger road adaptation capabilities and can drive smoothly under various complex road conditions.
