The Chery Tiggo 8 is a product under Chery’s umbrella. It utilizes Chery’s ACTECO 1.6TGDI direct-injection turbocharged engine (awarded the 2019 Top 10 Chinese Engine), coupled with a Getrag 7DCT wet dual-clutch transmission, capable of unleashing a maximum power of 145 kW and a peak torque of 290 N•m. Employing Masking combustion chamber technology, the engine achieves a high thermal efficiency of up to 37.1%. It was launched on April 25, 2018.

The Tiggo 8 was launched on April 25, 2018, and currently has two models: the all-new Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 8 Plus. The car’s infotainment system utilizes the Lion Cloud intelligent system. It now sells over tens of thousands of units monthly. The engine comes with an extended warranty of 10 years or 1 million kilometers. On August 12, 2020, Chery Automobile’s all-new generation Tiggo 8 was upgraded and launched in Brazil.
