By reducing inertia loss through efficient turbocharging and low-pressure loss boost piping, and changing the transmission control, quick acceleration can be achieved by stepping on the accelerator. With improvements in engine hardware and increased engine torque, along with mature engine and CVT calibrations, faster and stronger acceleration is achieved, providing a powerful acceleration experience without delay. All models are equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, providing drivers with a nimble steering experience. The engine speed is optimized to match the acceleration pedal, creating a more linear acceleration experience. In terms of power, the all-new Civic continues to be powered by a 1.5T turbocharged engine, with two power options of 129 horsepower and 182 horsepower, and maximum torque of 180 Nm and 243 Nm respectively.
