“Exploration 06” is a strategic model by Chery targeting the young and personalized market. Prior to its launch, Chery initiated a global naming campaign, resulting in over 7,000 creative names. “Exploration 06” emerged from this initiative. It is powered by a 1.6T engine with a maximum power of 145 kW (197 PS) at 5500 rpm and a maximum torque of 290 N·m at 2000-4000 rpm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

The “Exploration 06” comes equipped with a 13.2-inch central control screen and a 1.1 square meter panoramic sunroof. The vehicle’s infotainment system features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, along with 64-color ambient lighting, W-HUD panoramic display, and a 540-degree panoramic camera system.
In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle offers two options: the 1.6TGDI+7DCT Kunpeng powertrain and the third-generation hybrid technology Kunpeng super performance electric hybrid. The hybrid model will be equipped with Chery’s latest fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI efficient hybrid engine paired with a three-gear super electric hybrid DHT powertrain.
