The NIO ET5T features the industry’s largest panoramic sunroof, providing 1.35 square meters of transparent area to enhance the cabin’s spaciousness with abundant natural light. The sunroof boasts a UV blocking rate of up to 99% and can block over 80% of heat. Additionally, it offers optional smart dimming, automatically adjusting the transparency level.

Thanks to clever design, the ET5T offers class-leading cabin space. With a longitudinal space of 1,857 millimeters for both front and rear seats and a lateral width of 1,542 millimeters for the front seats, it provides ample room for passengers. The wagon-style design enhances rear headroom, and the widened rear headrests ensure comfort. The second-row seats offer a lateral width of 1,498 millimeters and support a 4/2/4 folding configuration.

The ET5T boasts a larger and more practical trunk space with a maximum capacity of 1,300 liters. The trunk cover is flush with the threshold for easy loading and unloading of luggage and features a segmented design to provide an additional 42 liters of storage space. Furthermore, the trunk cover can be lowered, expanding the vertical space to meet larger storage needs.

Performance is in NIO’s DNA. With a drag coefficient of just 0.25Cd, the ET5T comes standard with a dual-motor intelligent all-wheel-drive system, achieving a 0-100 kilometers per hour acceleration in just 4 seconds. It maintains a 50:50 front-to-rear axle load ratio and a super-low center of gravity of 499 millimeters. The front and rear five-link suspension systems offer higher design freedom and tuning space, ensuring precise wheel guidance. The HRS hydraulic shock absorber system reduces road impact, lowers suspension noise, and improves NVH quality, balancing handling and comfort. NIO’s self-developed high-performance aluminum alloy four-piston fixed calipers, combined with high-performance NAO friction pads, achieve a braking distance of just 33.9 meters per 100 kilometers.

The ET5T offers nine driving modes, including economy, comfort, sport, sport+, and personalized modes, as well as snow, sand, wetland, and towing modes for different driving sensations and scenarios, providing users with a comprehensive driving experience.

In terms of intelligent driving, the ET5T comes standard with the Aquila NIO Super Sensing System and the NIO Adam NIO Supercomputing Platform, featuring 33 high-performance sensors, including laser radar, and four NVIDIA Orin X chips with a computing power of up to 1016 Tops, enabling 23 safety and driving assistance features. It also features the Banyan 2.0.0 system, integrating NIO products, services, and communities to deliver a unique intelligent driving experience.

Based on the dual five-star design standards of China and Europe, the ET5T adopts a high-strength steel-aluminum hybrid body structure, with the rear floor of the body using an advanced one-piece casting process to ensure strength, safety, and lightweight design. The vehicle’s torsional stiffness reaches up to 32,000 Nm/degree, leading its class. The central far-end airbag is standard across the range, providing maximum protection for occupants.
