Changan UNI-V and smart electric iDD are positioned as an “intelligent high-speed plug-in hybrid sports coupe” and the first sports coupe model to be equipped with the Changan smart electric iDD system . It possesses four main characteristics: “super perception, super fast, super efficient, and super safe.”

“Super perception”: The Changan UNI-V employs advanced sensing technologies, including lidar, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors, to perceive the surrounding environment and road conditions in real-time, providing comprehensive driving assistance and safety features.
“Super fast”: The Changan smart electric iDD system offers a high-performance electric drive system, enabling the UNI-V to deliver excellent acceleration and responsiveness. This allows the vehicle to quickly reach high speeds and provide an exhilarating driving experience.
“Super efficient”: The Changan UNI-V utilizes an advanced hybrid powertrain system that combines an electric motor and an internal combustion engine, achieving efficient energy utilization and fuel economy. This results in impressive overall fuel efficiency and extended driving range.

The UNI-V with smart electric iDD is equipped with an 18.4kWh high-energy PHEV battery, providing a maximum NEDC pure electric range of up to 113km, which is more than sufficient for daily commuting. Thanks to the excellent energy control strategy and adaptive energy recovery strategy of the AI intelligent energy-saving system, its NEDC comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 0.8L/100km, and the combined electric and fuel consumption is only 4.2L/100km, saving money in any driving scenario. Its NEDC comprehensive range reaches 1100km, making it suitable for long-distance travel or commuting between cities.

The UNI-V with smart electric iDD supports both DC fast charging and AC charging. With a peak power of over 25kW for DC fast charging, it only takes 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. In the 6.6kW AC charging mode, it takes only 2.6 hours to fully charge the battery. It also supports external discharge, meeting users’ needs for lighting, cooking, entertainment, and more during self-driving camping trips.

The UNI-V with smart electric iDD integrates various driving modes within EV/HEV/SUPER RACE and i-X Love Space [7], including Intelligent EV, Powerful Hybrid, Long-Range Serenity, and Camping modes. It also allows users to add three custom driving modes. With the Super Race track mode, the power is fully unleashed, providing a strong sense of acceleration in initial starts, mid-range bursts, and high-speed sprints. It can effortlessly exceed a top speed of 230km/h.
