Wenjie M7

The Wenjie M7 is a high-end intelligent car model under the AITO brand. Developed jointly by Saic and Huawei, the Wenjie M7 features extended-range power and is available in both five-seat and six-seat versions, with a total of five models.

Equipped with HUAWEI DATS 2.0, the Wenjie M7 achieves advanced intelligent driving in high-speed and urban areas without relying on high-precision maps. It boasts a comprehensive range of 1300 kilometers, with an all-electric range exceeding 240 kilometers.

On September 12, 2023, the new Wenjie M7 was officially released and deliveries began. On October 6th, the new Wenjie M7 achieved a record-breaking daily delivery of over 7,000 units.

Description

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a design reminiscent of a dual-grille layout. The upper section features a narrow strip-shaped inverted trapezoidal design, connected to the side lights to form a continuous style. Below, there is a large trapezoidal intake grille with chrome accents, adding a sense of depth. Additionally, the vertical air intakes on both sides enhance the vehicle’s sporty appearance.

Looking at the side profile, the new car features dual waistlines, along with a straight roofline and 20-inch wheels, giving it a dynamic and fashionable look. As for the rear, the new car adopts a through-type taillight design, complemented by a trapezoidal embedded license plate area and the AITO brand logo in the middle, creating a strong sense of depth. It’s worth mentioning that the rear seats of the new car will offer a rear privacy glass configuration, enhancing the privacy of rear passengers.

Highlighted Features

The AITO Wenjie M7, jointly designed by Saic Motors and Huawei, is the second product from their collaboration. Positioned as a luxury intelligent large electric SUV, it originates from the Pure Electric Drive Intelligent Extended Range Platform (DE-i), featuring a specially designed 1.5T four-cylinder range extender for higher efficiency and longer range. The rear-wheel-drive version of the AITO Wenjie M7 has a maximum CLTC-condition range of up to 1220 kilometers, a maximum CLTC-condition pure electric range of up to 230 kilometers, and a fuel consumption of as low as 5.8 liters per 100 kilometers. The four-wheel-drive version achieves acceleration of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.8 seconds, delivering performance comparable to supercars.

Moreover, the AITO Wenjie M7 offers a spacious 6-seat layout, zero-gravity seats, and a newly upgraded HarmonyOS smart cockpit, catering to both family and business travel scenarios. The HarmonyOS smart cockpit provides convenient multi-device connectivity for the Wenjie M7. Petal Maps navigation stays updated and seamlessly transitions between different devices. The voice assistant Xiaoyi has obtained the first A-level certification for in-car voice assistants in the automotive industry, featuring intelligent four-audio-zone precise recognition, visual and verbal interaction, edge-cloud collaboration, support for multiple commands in a single sentence, multi-mode rejection, and up to 60 seconds of continuous conversation. It also offers rich customization options to meet the needs and preferences of each user.
