The flagship SUV Wenjie M9 has been released in two power versions: pure electric and extended-range, with a price range of 469,800 to 569,800 yuan. Positioned as a luxury D-class SUV, it boasts a zero to hundred kilometers per hour acceleration of as fast as 4.3 seconds. The extended-range version offers a maximum range of 1402 kilometers, while the pure electric version (with a 100 kWh battery capacity) provides a range of 630 kilometers.
The car offers versatile seating modes, allowing for various layouts of 3, 4, 5, or 6 seats. In terms of appearance, it adopts the new family-style “Kunpeng Wings” design language, with a closed front face to emphasize its new energy identity. The headlights, including the high and low beams, daytime running lights, and intelligent interactive lights, are integrated into the same lamp housing, capable of projecting text, patterns, and animations. The car’s side profile features square and elongated lines, complemented by a two-tone body, enhancing its sense of luxury and depth. Its dimensions are 5230mm in length, 1999mm in width, 1800mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3110mm.
The rear of the car is relatively simple, with thick and solid-shaped taillights echoing the design of the front headlights. Silver-colored skid plates adorn the lower bumper, creating a rugged look. Notably, all six seats in the three rows of the interior are electrically adjustable, allowing for flexible switching between the versatile seating modes of 3 to 6 seats.
In addition, it is equipped with advanced Huawei intelligent driving assistance systems, HarmonyOS 4.0 cockpit, and passenger entertainment screen, and is powered by a 1.5T dual-motor extended-range hybrid system and a dual-motor four-wheel-drive pure electric power system. In terms of batteries, the extended-range version is equipped with a 40kWh battery pack from CATL, providing a pure electric range of 175 kilometers. The pure electric version features a 97kWh battery from CATL, offering a range of 630 kilometers and supports 800V ultra-fast charging technology.
