Wuling Air EV is Wuling’s first global new energy vehicle. The Air EV (right-hand drive version) was launched in Indonesia on August 11th, offering two options: the long-wheelbase version and the short-wheelbase version, with seating options for 2 and 4 passengers, and support for fast charging.

Wuling’s first global new energy vehicle, the Air EV, made its debut at the Indonesia International Motor Show on August 11th, 2022, marking the beginning of Wuling’s journey into globalization. In the future, it will compete in India, Egypt, and many other countries and regions worldwide.

Based on insights from millions of user travel data and in response to the diverse needs and pain points of urban families, SAIC-GM-Wuling proposes the best solution for urban family travel—the “1 Large + 1 Small” model. One large vehicle meets the needs of multiple people and long-distance travel with its ample space, while one small vehicle serves as a quality supplement for family multi-scene use and easily meets the short-distance travel needs of individuals in the city.

Against the backdrop of the expansion of high-net-worth individuals and the emergence of a new consumer economy, Wuling deeply understands the demands of users in the “quality economy” era and anchors quality families. The Air EV “Clear Sky” offers users a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience with its lightweight design, responsive interactions, effortless power, and easy navigation. Featuring a simple four-color exterior and dual-tone interior theme, it presents a globally-inspired quality that is within reach. With a range of up to 300km and support for various charging modes including DC fast charging, coupled with the intuitive Ling OS system, it ensures comprehensive active and passive safety technologies to safeguard travel security.

The interior of the Wuling Air EV will offer two sizes of LCD instrument panels for users to choose from. The larger size features a dual-screen design integrating the LCD instrument panel and the central control screen, while the lower-end version will only have the instrument panel screen.

In terms of exterior design, the front end of the new car adopts a continuous LED daytime running light design and is equipped with a split-headlamp assembly. It also features an irregular styling design, ensuring high recognition. Moreover, the continuous light strip will be equipped with decorative trim with the same continuous design, extending to the sides of the exterior mirrors, further emphasizing the vehicle’s uniqueness.
