More Safety Features, Higher Manufacturing Standards — More Reliable
In addition to its stylish appearance and exquisite interior, the Wuling Zhengcheng is equipped with BOSCH 9.0 version ABS, EBD devices, and all nine seats come standard with three-point seat belts and reverse radar, ensuring a worry-free driving environment for every passenger on board. Furthermore, built on thirty years of manufacturing experience at SAIC-GM-Wuling, the Wuling Zhengcheng undergoes rigorous research and development and manufacturing according to global standards. It has endured the equivalent of 160,000 kilometers of comprehensive road testing, along with tests for summer heat endurance, winter cold endurance, brake system durability, dust resistance, sealing performance, and engine calibration for high altitudes, resulting in higher product durability and reliability.
With a lengthy wheelbase of 3205mm, the Wuling Zhengcheng achieves spacious and comfortable interior space. Additionally, to meet diverse consumer needs, the Wuling Zhengcheng offers various seating layouts such as “2+2+2+3”, similar to MPV models, with the middle two rows adopting an independently separable seat arrangement, providing not only comfort and practicality but also flexibility in space.
In terms of cargo capacity, the Wuling Zhengcheng performs exceptionally well, with a maximum trunk volume of up to 6000L, capable of accommodating 60 large 100L suitcases. Through Lotus-tuned chassis adjustments, this vehicle achieves a maximum effective load capacity of 1000kg, making it a larger and more practical choice for consumers with passenger and cargo-carrying needs.
Economical Powertrains — More Cost-Effective
In terms of power, the Wuling Zhengcheng is equipped with two engine options: 1.5L and 1.8L. The 1.5L engine is the latest generation P-TEC DVVT engine from General Motors, with a maximum power output of 106 horsepower and a maximum torque of 145 Nm, while the 1.8L engine has a maximum power output of 131 horsepower and peak torque of 182 Nm, delivering power comparable to a 2.0L engine. Paired with the engines are 5-speed manual transmissions.
The two efficient and energy-saving engines of the Wuling Zhengcheng also perform remarkably well in fuel economy, achieving impressive combined fuel consumption figures of 8.4L/100km for the 1.5L model and 8.8L/100km for the 1.8L model. This achievement is partly due to the installation of high-efficiency energy-saving engines and the EPS electric power steering system, which significantly reduces mechanical energy consumption while providing drivers with easier and more convenient operation.
Flexible and Versatile Seating Layouts — More Practical
The introduction of the Wuling Zhengcheng stems from SAIC-GM-Wuling’s long-term focus and in-depth research on user needs. Surveys have revealed that user demand for logistics transportation and cargo-passenger combined solutions is constantly increasing, leading to higher requirements for vehicle space, economy, and comfort. Based on this in-depth research, the Wuling Zhengcheng, as a “practical commercial vehicle,” emerged, offering users a new choice with superior comfort compared to traditional light-duty trucks and superior space compared to economical commercial vehicles.
