On May 9, 2020, the Wuling Rongguang electric vehicle was officially launched, offering two variants with ranges of 252KM and 300KM respectively, along with options for windowed and passenger versions. Positioned as a new energy city logistics vehicle, the Wuling Rongguang electric vehicle is equipped with a maximum power of 60kW electric motor and a peak torque of 220 Newton-meters. In terms of configuration, it comes standard with an EPS electric power steering system and a driver’s side airbag, enhancing driving safety.

Description

Exterior: The Wuling Rongguang electric vehicle maintains the design style of the current Wuling Rongguang fuel version. At the front, it features a narrow strip-style grille with honeycomb elements inside, complemented by large-sized lamps on both sides. Moving to the rear, it adopts vertical taillights. Additionally, the “Wuling Rongguang EV” badge at the bottom left corner highlights its identity as a new energy vehicle.

Interior Design: The interior of the Wuling Rongguang electric vehicle predominantly utilizes black color, with chrome accents added to the three-spoke steering wheel to enhance its quality. As a new energy vehicle, it adopts a knob-style gear shifting structure. Moreover, the cargo space in the rear trunk of the Wuling Rongguang electric vehicle is considerable.

Space Layout: The dimensions of the Wuling Rongguang electric vehicle are 4490mm × 1615mm × 1915mm, with a wheelbase of 3050mm. It offers a carrying space of up to 5100 liters, providing effective loading space of 5100 liters.

Powertrain: The Wuling Rongguang electric vehicle is powered by a 60kW electric motor with a peak torque of 220 Newton-meters. Additionally, it is equipped with either a 41.6kWh or a 35.4kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, providing NEDC range of 300km and 252km respectively.

Charging: The Wuling Rongguang electric vehicle supports both regular AC charging and DC fast charging. During regular AC charging, the power can reach 6.6KW, which is much higher than that of similar vehicles at 3.3KW, enabling a full charge in 7 hours. When using DC fast charging, it only takes 2 hours for a full charge, providing ample time for daily use.
