Dimensions: The Zhiji L7 has an overall length of 5098mm, width of 1960mm, height of 1485mm, and a wheelbase of 3100mm, which puts it in the category of mainstream medium to large luxury sedans. The virtual wheelbase ranges from 2580mm to 3250mm.

Exterior: The Zhiji L7 adopts a “water drop curve” design, with a coefficient of drag (Cd) of 0.21, which is crucial for reducing energy consumption. The car will be available in six body colors: Bisharo White, Raphael Tea, Cezanne Black, Rembrandt Grey, Morandi Grey (matte), and Diana White (matte).

Battery: The Zhiji L7 comes standard with a 93kWh high-capacity battery pack, equipped with stable performance 523 formula ternary lithium-ion cells. The unique and efficient horizontal layout enables the battery pack to achieve a high energy density of 195Wh/kg.

Design: The Zhiji L7 features a water drop curve design with an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.21. It offers six artistic colors: Bisharo White, Raphael Tea, Cezanne Black, Rembrandt Grey, Morandi Grey (matte), and Diana White (matte), as well as three interior color options: Subdued Light, Rock Grinding Brown, and Secret Black.

Worry-Free Range: The Zhiji L7 comes standard with a 93kWh high-capacity battery pack, equipped with stable performance 523 formula ternary lithium-ion cells. With its horizontal layout, the battery pack achieves an energy density of 195Wh/kg, striking a balance between high energy density and high safety. The four-wheel-drive CLTC version has a comprehensive driving range of up to 615km, and it supports upgrading to the next-generation high-end energy battery through user data equity plans. The Zhiji L7 has undergone a series of rigorous tests, including puncture, high and low-temperature endurance, with the “Pre”, “Guide”, “Structure”, “Isolation”, and “Disperse” five-fold protection technology to achieve no thermal propagation.

Moreover, the Zhiji L7 also offers an optional 11kW high-power intelligent wireless vehicle charging system.

In terms of battery options, the new Zhiji L7 offers three specifications of lithium-ion battery packs: 71.2kWh, 90kWh, and 100kWh. The entry-level version features a single motor with 231kW, while the current 250kW rear-wheel-drive version will be retained. Additionally, the four-wheel-drive version continues to be equipped with a dual-motor configuration of 175kW + 250kW. These different battery pack specifications and motor configurations cater to the diverse needs of consumers.

Highlighted Features

Highlighted Features

Zhiji L7 adopts a rear-biased four-drive layout, with the main drive motor for the rear axle being a customized high-power magnesium alloy oil-cooled motor with a special black label version. This black label motor features an innovative 8-layer Hair-pin flat wire winding structure and an internationally patented high-speed direct cooling technology.

Highest power density on a 400V platform: The black label motor for the rear axle of the Zhiji L7, with its 8-layer Hair-pin flat wire winding technology and the magnesium alloy casing, achieves a power density of 3.03 kW/kg, which is 50% higher than the industry average of 2.05 kW/kg and 1.96 kW/kg.

Innovative 8-layer Hair-pin flat wire winding technology: This technology increases the slot filling factor by 20%. The motor volume is significantly reduced compared to traditional round wire motors, allowing the entire electric drive system to have a smaller size while maintaining higher performance.

Magnesium alloy motor casing: The application of magnesium alloy casing is the first batch production in the domestic new energy electric drive industry. The motor team started from scratch, formed a joint team of materials, die-casting, molds, and design, conducted dozens of variable control experiments by inspecting major material and surface treatment suppliers in the industry, and overcame difficulties in magnesium alloy joints, surface treatment, and die-casting processes.

Support for more than 10 consecutive accelerations: The Zhiji L7 achieved the title of “Tianma’s Fastest Original Electric Vehicle” thanks to this technology. The innovative full-network direct cooling oil channel design enables precise and controllable turbulent direct injection cooling for the stator and end winding, achieving synchronous cooling of the motor end and core. Compared to traditional water cooling solutions, it improves sustainable performance by 46%. At the same time, the innovative thermal management system can actively and intelligently distribute cooling flow to the motor, improving cooling efficiency.

More than 10 maximum accelerations: With the support of the high-speed direct cooling technology, the peak power duration of the Zhiji L7 motor can reach nearly 30 seconds (compared to the average of about 10 seconds for ordinary motors), and the constant power can reach around 70% of the peak power (compared to about 50% for ordinary motors). The efficient cooling technology matched with extremely stable power output allows the Zhiji L7 to support more than 10 maximum accelerations.
